This is the 27th Year of St. Philip Neri’s Italian Festival running from Thursday May 16th to Saturday May 18th – Food, Live Music, Vendors, Expanded Kid Zone, Live and Silent Auctions and a Beer Garden. You get to reach your goal by finishing at their breathtaking property.

Hit the pavement and make your footprints count in support of the YMCA Annual Campaign that gives youth an opportunity to play, learn and grow in a safe and thriving environment. Ballantyne raised over $100,000, providing hundreds of children the opportunity to participate in enriching, life-changing YMCA programs like preschool, after school, summer camp and sports. Held in the heart of South Park, the race begins at 8 am at Fairview Plaza office buildings. The 5k course takes runners through scenic South Park neighborhoods while the 1k Fun Run keeps runners close to Fairview Road.

The Rocktoberfest Half Marathon & 5K will be capped for the 2024 event. There will be NO RACE DAY Registration so be sure to sign up early! ALL registration ends October 12th, 2024 unless we sell out before hand.
Mental Health Matters 5K
The event will start and end at the tap house, beginning at 9 am and finishing around 12pm. The funds help cover household expenses including housing, utilities, transportation, and groceries/necessities. Go Jen Go was founded by Joe & Jen Pagani, a Charlotte mom and Ironman athlete who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2014. Her legacy continues as we help cover the day-to-day finances so families can focus on their fight against breast cancer. Created by the Carolina Panthers and Atrium Health Foundation, the Keep Pounding initiative supports cancer research efforts throughout Atrium Health.

Charlotte 10 Miler & 4 Mile Run
The race will take place throughout the beautiful 70+ acres of Charlotte’s Historic Elmwood/Pinewood Cemetery. Run by the likes of Belk, Ivey, Morrison, Tate, and Blake, just to name a few of the resident luminaries. In addition to the 5K, the event features food trucks, DJ, an award ceremony, and a guided tour after the race. The Inaugural Lake Norman Elf Classic is the cold weather cousin of one of the most popular races in North Carolina - The Lake Norman Forest Run!!
Run The South Half Marathon, 10K & 5K
You will have a stunning view as you come in of the lake and of all of the amazing sailboats moored there.
To keep the runners motivated, there is a rock band performing live music near the start/finish line. After the race, participants can enjoy an Octoberfest beer garden where they can celebrate their achievements with friends and family. The beer garden will feature a variety of beers, including some of the best local brews. We plan an exciting event each year that attracts close to 1000 runners and walkers in the Charlotte area to benefit these cardiac rehab programs and the services we provide our patients. All finishers and supporters will enjoy a true celebration post-race in beautiful Symphony Park with live music, food, community and craft beer. Join us in community for one of the last fun runs of the year!
Charlotte Racefest Half Marathon, 10K & 10K Relay
Since its establishment, the Keep Pounding Fund has received over $4.5 million in charitable gifts, which exclusively benefit cancer programs at Atrium Health Levine Cancer and Atrium Health Levine Children's. By participating in the Keep Pounding 5K, you can impact the lives of patients diagnosed with cancer, while spreading awareness and contributing to vital cancer research programs. Proceeds from the Krueger Reindeer Romp benefit our YMCA Annual Campaign and help provide life-changing programs and services for kids and families who need us most. This is a fast and flat point to point 5k race that begins at Tega Cay Elementary School, proceeds in one lane down Gold Hill Road and finishes at Fort Mill Ford. There will be a shuttle to get you back to your car after the race or if you catch a ride with your family or friends, they can park at Fort Mill Ford.
We hope you consider participating in our race, to honor a little girl who was full of life until her last breath, as well as support Operation Sweet Tooth to assist children in our community who are less fortunate. Your support enables Levine Cancer and Levine Children's to offer Phase I and Phase II clinical research trials and the latest cancer treatments to patients where they need it most - close to home. The Airport scholarship will benefit students who are graduates of high schools in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School (CMS) district and are Title 1 eligible.

The event includes a half marathon and a 5K race, both of which take place in the scenic Riverwalk neighborhoods of Rock Hill.
